CMS Advantage was developed by Cargo Manager Systems in order to fulfill the requirements set forth in the "U.S. Customs 24-hour Advance Cargo Manifest Declaration Rule".
CMS Advantage is a cost effective and user friendly interface designed specifically for NVOs.
In order to subscribe to CMS Advantage, an NVO needs to do the following:
Obtain a SCAC code (Standard Carrier Alpha Code). This can be obtained from National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA), located in Alexandria, VA, phone number (703) 838-1810, or go to their web site at www.nmfta.org
Obtain a type 3 international carrier bond as described in U.S. Customs document

Complete AMS Letter of intent on your company letterhead, sign and fax or email to Cargo Manager Systems at 1-908-688-0883 or mgregov@cargomanager.com All fields in red are fields user are to fill in. Example: company name and address, date, SCAC codes and EIN numbers.
Upon receipt of completed letter of intent, Cargo Manager Systems will send you a login and a password in order to access CMS Advantage System.
